Studio owner and instructor Inara (pictured at right) has performed at restaurants, parties, and other events in the Naples area for over 7 years.  She has studied many styles of bellydance, including the use

of props such as veil, zills (finger cymbals), and sword.   She has been a regular dancer at Bha Bha Persian Bistro for the last few years, where she performs bellydance with a bit of Persian styling.  Other venues such as S'agapo, Zorba's, Luxor Hookah Lounge and Daniella's have also showcased her performances.

Inara enjoys personalizing each show right down to the costuming and music, to perfectly fit each performance to the venue and event.  She takes pride in her huge bellydance music library, which she scours often for new material and inspiration.

Studio owners Kara and Tammy (aka Inara and Tamrah), along with studio co-founder and international bellydance star Ansuya, are all available for booking around town and beyond.  Together they form Naples' own professional troupe, Gypsy Sugar.  Our troupe can customize the perfect performance to “wow” your audience and make your event unforgettable.  Solo and group performances, or a combination, are available - including dynamic choreographies, mesmerizing improv, and dramatic props.  

Recent local performances by Gypsy Sugar include the Naples CityFest, Gypsy Nights showcases at Bayshore Landing Cafe, and the Cancer Alliance of Naples' Bachelor Auction.  They have also traveled beyond southwest Florida for performances in Miami, San Antonio, and LA.  Ansuya herself regularly performs and teaches all over the world!

Private and small group classes are also available both on and off-site.  You can even have a fun "ladies night" class and performance party!  Great for bachelorette parties and birthdays....or just because!  We can help you select the perfect entertainment option for any occasion.
